Africa’s charms are limitless! Other locations to consider when planning a trip with us are Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Uganda, Mozambique, and Seychelles.
To add one or two of these renowned destinations to your classic safari experience is a real benefit to a traveler. We offer the same great attention to detail with these unique destinations.
You will appreciate the extra few days on the continent wether it be trekking in the jungle or relaxing on the beach.
Victoria Falls is a 1 to 3 nights add on excursion to your main safari. The main attraction is of course the tour of the great water fall “The Smoke that Thunders” as the locals refer to it. Then add an evening boat cruise to spot elephants, crocodiles, and hippos on the upper Zambezi River. Or go on a morning fishing escapade and an afternoon stroll at the market or a guided canoe trip. Helicopter tours are also available and they provide an excellent vantage point of the falls and are easily arranged.
For gorilla trekking take a 3 to 4 night adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda or Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Hike through the wild mountain terrain in search for the endangered mountain gorillas and spend time learning about their behaviors and habitat. The trek can last between 30 minutes to several hours depending on the location of mountain gorilla family on that particular day. The jungle also provides refuge to elephans, chimpanzee, monkeys and various small antelopes and bird species. It is a soul-stirring, thrilling, and forever unforgettable experience.
Besides Zanzibar, for premier beach destinations you can also visit Mozambique or the Seychelles after your safari adventure.
